The Body Shop:
Self Love Campaign
Conceptual Design/ Digital Design/ Illustration
In a world filled with distractions and self-care neglect, The Body Shop’s global survey revealed 1 in 2 people experienced more self-doubt than self-love. We launched a transformative movement as response, our mission was to prompt audiences to embrace and practice self-love, and to recognize their inherent power, potential, and worth.
I designed a series of graphic systems, illustrations, and guideline toolkits for global markets to broaden the campaign conversation, maintain the momentum, and spread the self-love movement from country to country. My creations were used across our digital channels, including website landing pages, Instagram giphy stickers, AR filters, social media posts, and emails.
For the campaign launch, we introduced four UK-based self-love 'Leading Lights,' who passionately shared their personal journeys to self-love through our social channels and in-store. To amplify our impact, we organized an Instagram live session co-hosted by activist Jameela Jamil and self-love expert, The Millennial Therapist. This session attracted over 6,000 live viewers, with an additional 300,000 watching later.
Our goal was ambitious: generate 1 million acts of self-love globally within a year. Surpassing expectations, the campaign reached over 70 countries, and over 2 million acts of self-love have been shared worldwide in just a few months.

International Women’s Day
On International Women's Day, we continued the self-love momentum. This initiative aimed to empower women and girls worldwide, encouraging them to take positive steps, rise up, support themselves and each other, and create positive change in the world. I designed these illustrative assets to live across digital channels.
International Day of the Girl
On International Day of the Girl, we began a conversation about what we get right (and wrong) when it comes to improving the self-love of women and girls of culturally diverse backgrounds. We gave the floor to some of our colleagues to hear how the beauty industry shaped their view of themselves growing up.
I designed and created these illustrative assets for our digital channels to celebrate different versions of beauty and emphasizing representation's positive impact.
